In 2005, David Gross directed the first of 260 episodes of Gross am Land (David Gross on the countryside). The series soon gained cult status on the TV station Salzburg TV and will be repeated on the successor channel Servus TV, also in 2017. It is an early form of the Slow TV: decelerated random journalism instead of breathless sensation reporting.
Every Saturday, 18:40, a double-episode Big in the country is repeated on Servus TV
